another friend married...well, half-married

today, i went to day's civil wedding (it's so that she can start the paperwork to get her name changed before she leaves for germany) at the SJ city hall's wedding chapel. it's actually not my first time there. i was there last year for a co-worker's wedding. anyhow...it was nice. we could stand anywhere we wanted during the ceremony to take pics...so i actually don't really know what the lady said today...i was too busy looking for the perfect spot. :) hee hee but it's a pretty nice way to get married if you don't want to make a huge deal out of it. day's dress was very very pretty too. and man! it emphasized her long, long legs! which brings to mind a line from the BJ2, "my legs only go up to here (pointing to waist)" very cute movie, btw. i think i mighta laughed harder in the 2nd one than the 1st! anyhow. i say day's only 1/2 married cuz she's still got a formal ceremony at the end of april. but she's off on her honeymoon (part I) today. hope they have a great time! i, on the other hand, will be enjoying a workout free weekend! yay!!!! hope everyone has an equally nice weekend.
