computers suck!

dude...so i've been getting the dreaded blue screen again. the first time, the support dude repaired my OS and it worked for almost 2 weeks before it happened again. so i had to call in for support again and this time they advised that i wipe out my hard drive completely and install a new version of the OS and stuff cuz most likely some of the files got corrupted (cuz apparently the hard drive's fine according to a diagnostic test). I was sorta prepared for this since the first guy had suggested i back up all my files so fine, no sweat.

However, now i find that i forgot to save all my bookmarks (which isn't TOTALLY painful, but what a pain). Plus, apparently, the engine that came on my anti-virus software installer is no longer supported so i can no longer update it! ACK!! :(

so now, i've gotta spend all this time re-installing software, restarting the computer, fixing all the settings, re-loading all my files. what a PAIN!
